MY THAI PEACOCK - Thai Collection - Original Oil Finger Painting - 30x60

We had packed up and headed to the train station a little early, just to find that we would need to kill about two hours before transportation arrived. It was hot, the kind of hot that doesn?t subside much in the shade. Humid. The train station was small and stray dogs slept peacefully on the cold marble, they didn?t move a muscle as I walked by and examine them. This stray had tiny black scars across his tan hyde, homage to perhaps hundreds of brief little fights with other strays. They were beautiful in a way, sort of like a peppered black dot pattern from the tip of his nose to the ends of his paws. I walked around in circles observing the place, it was unusually quiet for Thailand, no screeching radio, no engines, no t.v.?s. Not far from the station a chain link fence bordered a lush garden, and a terracotta building reminiscent of Spain rose tall above the greenery. For some reason I kept looking for a peacock but it was just my imagination.
